Richard B. Freeman is Director of the National Bureau of Economic Research / Sloan Science Engineering Workforce projects, the Faculty Director of the Labor and Worklife Program at the Harvard Law School, and a Senior Research Fellow in Labor Markets at the London School of Economics’ Centre for Economic Performance. His primary fields of interest are labor economics and institutions, inequality, crime, philanthropy, European labor markets, computer simulation modeling, and trade unionism.
