Family And Religion Play A Critical Role In Economic Mobility

Today in Business Insider, Mandi Woodruff discusses a new report, "The Economic Impacts of Tax Expenditures” in which researchers from Harvard University and the University of California-Berkeley compare upward mobility across different U.S. cities. She notes that the findings support data from many other reports, including The Hamilton Project’s latest policy memo “Thirteen Economic Facts about Social Mobility and the Role of Education,” which have emphasized the link between income inequality and social mobility.
