Dr. Booth-Bell’s academic and professional experience includes over 30 years as a professor and business leader.  Her education includes a Ph.D. in Accounting from Aston University in Birmingham, England.  An M.P.M. from Carnegie Mellon University, and a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.  Her academic positions include her current role as an Assistant Professor at Coastal Carolina University, and previous positions at Benedict College including Assistant Professor and Executive Director of the Benedict College Business Development Center.  Her corporate positions include Assistant Vice President of Division Accounting Support at Wells Fargo and a Bank Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.  Her community service work includes membership on the Coastal Carolina Wall Fellows committee, American Accounting Association, the Academy of Management, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society, Delta Mu Delta Business Honor Society, the National Association of Black Accountants, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
