Alberto Ortega

Alberto Ortega is an Assistant Professor in the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. His research lies at the intersection of race, education, and health. For instance, previous work examines the causes of funding inequities faced by colleges that serve a relatively high share of minority students. He holds a B.A. in economics from Florida International University and earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in economics from the University of Florida.
