Allen Thorpe was an Associate and Partner of Hellman & Friedman LLC from January 1999 through December 2025. He led the New York office and was a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee.
Allen graduated with distinction from Stanford University and earned a master’s in business administration from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
Additionally, Allen serves on the Board of Directors for Zeta Charter Schools, Board of Overseers for the NYU Langone Medical Center, the Leadership Council of Robin Hood, and on the Board of Directors of Claritev.
