Michael Ng

Research Analyst, Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy

Michael Ng is a Research Analyst at the Brookings Institution’s Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy where he focuses on research related to macro-finance, economic growth, and public policy. Prior to Brookings, Michael worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in the Monetary Affairs Division, where he studied and monitored nonbank financial intermediaries. He has interned at the Council on Foreign Relations, the House of Representatives, and various other economic and policy focused organizations. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland in 2015 with a B.A. in Economics and in Government and Politics. In the Fall of 2019 he will enroll at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in the two-year MBA program.
