Tia Cole is a research assistant at The Hamilton Project. She graduated in May 2025 from Hamilton College with a BA in economics and a minor in government. Her research interests include SNAP, Medicaid, and broader issues related to social safety net programs and economic mobility. She conducted her senior thesis on the 2010 Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid expansions.
