Veronica Clevenstine

Veronica (Ronnie) Clevenstine is a Research Intern at The Hamilton Project. Prior to joining the Brookings Institution, Ronnie worked primarily with South Carolina researchers and non-profits to improve public assistance program access and assist in rural economic development projects, with a focus on the ways in which poverty is policed in the southeast. She plans to graduate with Honors in the Spring of 2022 with a degree in Economics at Clemson University, where she was a Harry S. Truman Scholar.
