Jimmy O’Donnell is a senior research assistant for The Hamilton Project. While with THP, his research has focused on labor market institutions, immigration, and the social safety net. Prior to joining Brookings, he spent a year in Finland on a Fulbright research grant studying their universal basic income (UBI) experiment. As an undergraduate, he conducted research with Dr. Erasmus Kersting and interned at the Roosevelt Institute in New York City. Jimmy graduated from Villanova University in May 2017 with a BA in Economics and a BA in Political Science.
