Este Griffith

Este Griffith currently serves as a Senior Program Strategy Manager, Political Engagement, at Pivotal Initiatives Fund. She brings 25 years of experience in philanthropy, politics, policy, and advocacy. She most recently served as managing director of The Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution, following eight years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she built grantmaking strategies across education and civic engagement. Earlier in her career, Este held chief of staff roles at Media Matters for America and DC’s Department of Employment Services and worked on political campaigns ranging from local Philadelphia races to Martin O’Malley’s gubernatorial and Chris Dodd’s presidential campaigns. She holds an M.P.A. from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in political science from the University of Pittsburgh.
